FNBT Welcomes Two New Officers

Beloit, WI, February 15, 2024 First National Bank and Trust Company (FNBT), is pleased to welcome Dan Kindl, First Vice President, Director of Loan Production and Operations, and John Alf, Vice President, Agriculture Commercial Banking Team Lead.

Dan KindlDan Kindl joined FNBT in January 2024 and has extensive knowledge in loan production, quality control, and underwriting, with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He served most recently as Vice President of Lending Production at an area credit union. Now, in his role as First Vice President, Director of Loan Production and Operations at FNBT, Dan is responsible for overseeing mortgage, small business, and consumer loan production. Dan also oversees loan operations including underwriting, quality control, post-closing, and collections. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
 
Active in the community, Dan volunteers for Mercy Meals on Wheels and participates in the annual United Way Day of Caring. He resides in East Troy, WI with his wife Andrea and their four children. In his free time, Dan enjoys golfing, playing card games, and traveling with his family. Dan will be based at FNBT’s Beloit-Grand Ave location.

John AlfJon Alf joined FNBT in January 2024 with 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, previously serving as a Commercial Loan Officer for an area bank. In his new role at FNBT as Vice President, Agriculture Commercial Banking Team Lead, John manages a portfolio of agriculture and commercial clients. He works with clients to develop solutions for all their banking needs while providing sound advice. Additionally, John works to foster relationships with new farmers and small businesses to identify services FNBT can provide to help their businesses thrive. John holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business and a degree in animal science with a minor in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
 
In addition to his experience in the financial services industry, John has extensive knowledge in the agriculture field. He is a member of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and the Rock County Ag Business Council, and has been a member of the Milton FFA Alumni since 2011, currently serving as the treasurer. He is also an executive board member for the American Hampshire Sheep Association and is involved with the Rock County Meat Animal Sale. In his free time, John enjoys working on his family farm and raising a flock of purebred Hampshire sheep. John resides in Janesville, Wisconsin and will be based at FNBT’s Darien, Wisconsin location.
